The Curse Of The Law

Galatians 3:10-14. Paul lays out the truth that the law of God holds no hope for the salvation of men because the only brings wrath and the curse of God. Jesus Christ however, redeemed us from the curse of the law, by becoming a curse for us!

Condemnation of The Innocent Man

Luke 23:13-25. The Jews, after Herod refuses to find Jesus guilty, return to Pilate demanding that he impose the death penalty in the case of Jesus. They have accused Him of misleading the people, so Pilate calls the chief priests, the rulers, and the people, hoping the people will challenge the leaders desire to have the man Jesus put to death. It doesn’t work out as Pilate had hoped.

Fairy-tale? No, We Believe in Historical Fact!

Galatians 4:4-5. The Christian message is often rejected as fairy-tale by people who are ignorant to the fact that our faith rests not on the imagination of men like all other earthly religions, Christianity rests on historical fact. Christ’s birth, His life, His death, and His resurrection are all events based in history, and that history supports the truth the Bible presents.

How Can the Christ Be David’s Son?

Luke 20:41:44 Now that Jesus has shut down the questions of the Sadducees and the Pharisees, Jesus has a question of His own for these. If the promised Messiah is the Son of David, then how can David call this Messiah his Lord? Jesus points to the book of Psalms as the authoritative word of God from which this question comes.

The King is Coming

John 12:12-19 Jesus, after raising Lazarus from the dead, is followed by a massive crowd into Jerusalem for the Passover. Is this the promised king?
