We love God’s word, and we believe that teaching the Bible faithfully and accurately is one of the best ways to help believer’s grow in their relationship with the Lord. We also believe that the Word of God is the only thing that is ever going to bring anyone into a saving relationship with God. Please feel free to check out our sermons here on line, and we would love to have you join us on Sunday’s as well.
God is Love
In our world often people, including Christians, will make mention of the fact that God is love with no understanding of what that really means. Non-believer’s take that as a reason why they have no need of a savior, because God already loves them. Unfortunately, this comes from a shallow understanding of love, and little understanding of the Gospel. “God is Love” properly understood is the most terrifying truth about God. Listen as we unpack the law and the gospel…
Blessings Come Through Believing
Luke 1:34-45. Mary, told of the child she will bear, a child that would be great, who would reign on David’s throne, who would be the Son of the Most High, is face with a choice. To believe, or not. We see that she did believe, and she was greatly blessed through her faith. We too are blessed when we believe.
It is Time!
Luke 1:26-33. The announcement of all announcements. The time has come for the savior of the world to come.
How God Measures Greatness
Luke 1:11-25. In our world we have many measures of the greatness of a man, but God doesn’t used our standard as He looks upon a man. See how God measures this in our lives.
Walking in Light
1 John 1:5-10 shows us that true fellowship with God means fellowship with light. It means a new relationship with darkness. We can’t “say” we have fellowship with God while the walk of our lives shows that we continue to walk in darkness.
Fellowship with God
1 John 1:1-4. John had a purpose in mind when he wrote the letter of 1 John. He desired men and women to know if they were saved. The first assurance he offers to us is for us to examine whether or not we enjoy fellowship with the Lord.
Righteous Before God
Luke 1:5-10. Zechariah and Elizabeth are said to be righteous people. What does that mean?
Can We Have Assurance That We Really Are Saved?
1 John 5:13. Through out all ages of church history there have been and always will be truly converted as well as unconverted people within the fellowship of the church. How can a man know for sure that he is saved? The apostle John wrote to a church to answer that very question. This is the first message in our study of the book of 1 John.
Jesus, The Perfect Revelation of God
Luke 1:1-4. In various places in the New Testament we are instructed that Jesus is God, and Jesus perfectly reflects God to us. As we begin looking at Luke’s Gospel account, we do so looking to see Jesus as clearly as we can, because we are told that eternal life is found in a relationship with Him, and to have relationship we have to know Him. This is the first message in our study of the book of Luke.
Hallowed be Thy Name
Matthew 6:9-13. The Lord Jesus modeled prayer for us. Every word jam packed with meaning. But are we going to that model to learn what are prayers should look like?
