The Seeker and Savior of Sinners
Luke 19:1-10 Jesus enters Jericho to meet a man God has planned for a long time to save. Jesus is the seeker, and He finds all He goes looking for and saves each and every one of them. He has to be, or none would ever be saved.
The Hope That Is In You
1 Peter 3:15 calls believers to be prepare to give a defence of the hope we have to anyone who asks. This assumes that as Christians we actually do have hope. But a generic hope can’t be defended, it must be a personal hope. Can we have such a hope? Yes we can!

They Will Kill Him, and on the Third Day He Will Rise
Luke 18:31-34. For the third time in Luke’s gospel Jesus tells His disciples about His coming death in Jerusalem. That written by the prophets is going to be accomplished!
What Must I Do?
Luke 18:18-30 A ruler of the synagogue came to Jesus with an all important question. What must I do to inherit eternal life. In answering the question Jesus brings the man to the law. In the answer we see that if it at all rests on “our work” it only requires perfect law keeping and perfect submission to Jesus lordship. Those who oppose Lordship salvation should give a listen, because they might be surprised what Lordship salvation actually believes.
