Luke 7:11-17. Jesus comes to the small town of Nain where He meets a funeral procession. Who is Jesus? Luke shows us the answer as Jesus raises this young man from the dead.

Beatitude Living

Luke 7:1-10. A Centurion seeks Jesus healing for his slave who is at the point of death. Genuine faith is seen in this man, where as the Jews around him demonstrate a worldview completely the opposite. A living example is seen in the Centurion of what it looks like to live the beatitudes.

Acts 6:1-7, 1 Timothy 3:8-13. Leadership in the local church is so important that our Lord has clearly laid out His plan for us on the pages of the New Testament. One of the offices He has given us is that of the Deacon. A very important role, yet one that has often in history not followed the biblical pattern.
