Brotherly Love

1 John2:7-11. John gives us another way to examine our profession of faith to see if what we claim is true. Do we have genuine love for other believers?

The Heart of Worship

Luke 1:46-56. We look at Mary’s song of praise to the Lord, and we recall the life of praise she has already demonstrated and we see one who truly loves the Lord because she knows Him. Do we know Him? Do we understand who He is like she did? If so we too will be a people of genuine worship.

Blessings Come Through Believing

Luke 1:34-45. Mary, told of the child she will bear, a child that would be great, who would reign on David’s throne, who would be the Son of the Most High, is face with a choice. To believe, or not. We see that she did believe, and she was greatly blessed through her faith. We too are blessed when we believe.

It is Time!

Luke 1:26-33. The announcement of all announcements. The time has come for the savior of the world to come.

How God Measures Greatness

Luke 1:11-25. In our world we have many measures of the greatness of a man, but God doesn’t used our standard as He looks upon a man. See how God measures this in our lives.

Walking in Light

1 John 1:5-10 shows us that true fellowship with God means fellowship with light. It means a new relationship with darkness. We can’t “say” we have fellowship with God while the walk of our lives shows that we continue to walk in darkness.

Fellowship with God

1 John 1:1-4. John had a purpose in mind when he wrote the letter of 1 John. He desired men and women to know if they were saved. The first assurance he offers to us is for us to examine whether or not we enjoy fellowship with the Lord.

Can We Have Assurance That We Really Are Saved?

1 John 5:13. Through out all ages of church history there have been and always will be truly converted as well as unconverted people within the fellowship of the church. How can a man know for sure that he is saved? The apostle John wrote to a church to answer that very question. This is the first message in our study of the book of 1 John.
