Let No One Disqualify You!

Colossians 2:16-23 Now that you have Christ, what do you need to do to ensure that your salvation is complete? Do you need to be more humble? Do you need to keep a list of religious rules or traditions? Do you need to increase your level of self denial? Paul answers these questions resoundingly: NO, let no one judge you, let no one disqualify you, insisting on anything but Christ!

Filled in Christ

Colossians 2:9-10 How do we put into words who Jesus is, and what that means to those who are in Christ? IF He is who Paul says He is, and we who believe are in Him, could there be anything lacking in our salvation?

Beware Lest You Be Taken Captive

Colossians 2:8 Paul focuses on our walk with Christ, which is rooted in our conversion. As You Received … So Walk!

Colossians 2:6-7 How did you receive Christ? What was your heart like when you meet Him and He came to be your Lord and savior? Go back to that time, consider where your heart was, and ask yourselves if that is still what your heart looks like.

Paul’s Ministry of Suffering

Colossians 1:24-29 Paul tells of how he rejoices in his sufferings which are for the sake of the church in filling up that which lacks in the afflictions of Christ. What does this mean? Are Christ’s works for our salvation lacking?
