We love God’s word, and we believe that teaching the Bible faithfully and accurately is one of the best ways to help believer’s grow in their relationship with the Lord. We also believe that the Word of God is the only thing that is ever going to bring anyone into a saving relationship with God. Please feel free to check out our sermons here on line, and we would love to have you join us on Sunday’s as well.

Submission and Love

Colossians 3:18-19 Wives submit, husbands love. These are the God ordained order and purpose for marriage. Vastly different from the message of our day and culture.

The Word Richly Dwelling

Colossians 3:16-17. How does peace rule in the Christian community? What informs this peace and sets its boundaries? Paul say the Word of Christ is to inform the umpire of faith.

The Garments Of The Christian

Colossians 3:12-15 IN keeping with the picture of the garments the believer is to put off or put away, Paul here instructs Christians what to then put on in p0lace of those sinful things. Compassion, kindness, mercy, gentleness, patience, and above all love.

Chosen, Holy, and Beloved

Colossians 3:11-12 We revisit the topic of the “old man” and the “new man” and what this means that the Old Man is dead. How is it then, if the old man is dead that I still struggle with sin? We also examine verses 11-12 which speak of unity within the fellowship of believers and who we are as believers.

Put Away The Old Self

Colossians 3:8-10 The old self is dead, but there are still garments belonging to the old nature that are to be taken off and thrown away.

Put To Death …!

Colossians 3:5-7 Sexual sin is not to ever be a part of the Christian life. IN fact, as Paul writes to the churches, it is clear that engagement in sexual sin is to be taken very seriously by the church with the intent that the man/woman in sin would repent.

Hearts and Minds Set Above

Colossians 3:1-4. If we are not to buy into the thinking of men, human precepts and traditions as the basis for our sanctification, then where are we to get our thinking from?

Let No One Disqualify You!

Colossians 2:16-23 Now that you have Christ, what do you need to do to ensure that your salvation is complete? Do you need to be more humble? Do you need to keep a list of religious rules or traditions? Do you need to increase your level of self denial? Paul answers these questions resoundingly: NO, let no one judge you, let no one disqualify you, insisting on anything but Christ!
